Heart and SoulThis lovely novel by Maeve Binchy was chock full of characters (you might just need a reference list to keep up!) in and around a new heart clinic in Dublin. Clara Casey is the new director, with the huge responsiblity of not only setting up and running the clinic, but also dealing with a recent divorce and the busy, complicated lives of her 2 daughters . . . .
both in their early 20's. The patients, skeptical at first, come to really treasure the clinic and all the staff who work there. They become a wonderful family and a real asset to the community. The young doctor, Declan, falls for the beautiful nurse, Fiona (how original!) but their relationship has it's trials. The story pulls you in for an enjoyable ride - snuggle up!
